Open day for A-B Expo Project 20 September 2012

European Cooperation Day will be celebrated across Europe and in neighboring countries for the first time ever on 21 September 2012. With 75 European Territorial Cooperation programmes on board, more than 100 local events will take place all over Europe during the week of 17 – 23 September.
The aim of the campaign, which carries the slogan “Sharing borders, growing closer” is to celebrate the achievements of cooperation between European regions and countries. Since the beginning of the 1990s, more than 20,000 projects, co-funded by the EU, have contributed to improving the lives of European citizens across borders, from creating jobs to protecting the environment to improving health care services and transport.
The campaign is coordinated by the INTERACT Programme in association with the European Commission, and supported by the Committee of the Regions and the European Parliament.
The Arad Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture has also joined this action, and invites all those interested to participate at the Open day for A-B Expo Project. The aim of the event is to introduce the conference center developed through A-B Expo Project and to provide insight into the new services offered by the new infrastructure. The event will be held at the Arad International Expo on Thursday September 20 2012 from 11:00 inside the central pavilion.
