HURO Newsletter 1/2015

In 2015, the HURO Programme 2007-2013, like many other territorial co-operation programmes across Europe, finds itself at the crossroads between two periods.

This is a very rewarding, yet challenging moment for all of us: for the HURO Programme 2007-2013 to successfully close its activities and demonstrate what has been achieved so far; for its successor, the Interreg V-A Romania–Hungary 2014-2020 Programme, to make sure that it ensures interested applicants fresh chances to submit their project proposals for cross-border co-operation tackling common challenges and needs of the 8 participating counties – as identified in the co-operation programme document which is currently under finalisation.

The first edition of our newsletter for this year will focus on the following topics:

  • Modification of the procedure for submitting follow-up reports
  • Results of the Call for funding additional activities
  • Join European Co-operation Day 2015: get a dose of inspiration for your events
  • Focus on project results: Feketekomplex and To know
  • Keep: a comprehensive tool to access results of territorial co-operation

We would also like to take the opportunity to wish you all a very happy Easter and springtime!

Best wishes,
The HURO JTS Team

Simplified procedure for the submission of follow-up reports

Important changes: soft projects (HURO 0801, HURO 0901, HURO 1001) need to submit only one Follow-up Report during the 5-year sustainability period

Results of the Call for funding additional activities

28 projects financed within the fifth call for proposals (HURO 1101) will receive additional funding to enhance their results

Join European Co-operation Day 2015: get the inspiration you need

Where can you find a race between horses and tractors, people swimming, biking or hiking from one country to another, and a theatre performance played simultaneously on two stages connected via virtual technology?

Focus on project results: FEKETEKOMPLEX

The HURO Programme 2007-2013 is launching a new series of articles meant to introduce some of the most valuable results achieved by the projects implemented between 2009-2015.

Focus on project results: To Know

The second project in our series has made a meaningful contribution to strengthening the social and economic cohesion of the border area in the field of education:

Keep.eu: Single gate to the results of territorial co-operation

Have you ever wished you could find comprehensible data about all ongoing or closed ETC, IPA or ENPI projects, by running a simple query, and all this for free?
