In 2015, the HURO Programme 2007-2013, like many other territorial co-operation programmes across Europe, finds itself at the crossroads between two periods.
This is a very rewarding, yet challenging moment for all of us: for the HURO Programme 2007-2013 to successfully close its activities and demonstrate what has been achieved so far; for its successor, the Interreg V-A Romania–Hungary 2014-2020 Programme, to make sure that it ensures interested applicants fresh chances to submit their project proposals for cross-border co-operation tackling common challenges and needs of the 8 participating counties – as identified in the co-operation programme document which is currently under finalisation.
